This position will assist with supervising the operations of a 60-room lodge with 13 cabins, a 125-seat restaurant and convention center complex. Job duties include daily supervision of a medium-sized service/maintenance staff by interviewing applicants, making hire or termination decisions, assigning work, training staff and evaluating staff performance. This position also supervises the coordination of facility activities, maintains facility records and prepares reports on business activities, revenue projections, cost control and inventory control. Other job duties include providing information to the public, arranging major maintenance and repairs for the facility and other duties as assigned. Applicant must be able to work a varied schedule and will primarily cover evenings, weekends, and holidays. A criminal background check and a driving record check are required.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma plus three years of experience in hotel/motel management; or, the formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in general business, hotel/motel management, hospitality or a related field. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
